I have only watched curling on television, but it looks like great fun. I have never played, but would love to try. I would be willing to do some work to start a club here in Athens, Ohio. We have a university ice arena (currently used for recreational skating and university and youth hockey). Thanks.

Startup a facebook fanpage(facebook.com/.../...) or a web blog (stlcurling.blogspot.com)like I did for the St. Louis Curling Club . Both are free and a way to gather interest in your community. Once done, let me know I will post on the map above.

I would like to see curling opportunities in Memphis TN. Currently I am unaware of any ice venus other then the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven MS (pretty a part of Memphis). I have no experience with curling other then what I see on the Olympics every 4 years. However I am very curious about the sport and I would love the opportunity to play or attempt to play. Currently I don't know how much I could offer in making something happen in my area but I would willing to listen to request and determine my availability at that time.

My husband & I have been following curling for the past 2 Olympics. We live in an area where I think there would be alot of interest. Not much here for kids to do here and a very family oriented area. Also has a college in town. We would definitely be interested in a club in our area.

Am currently a Grad. student and could handle small stuff and possibly could volunteer, but would need help and support from others.

I love watching curling on tv and would love to learn how to play but there is no club near me and would love to find or hope that there will be one near me. I live in a small town in Kentucky about 60 miles south of lexington. I would love to find out more about curling and where I could find a place near me to learn to play or maybe help get a club started near me. Thank you.

I have no experience but plenty of time and interest. I would love to be involved in any capacity to start a club in Southern Nevada should the opportunity arises. I have been involved in organized youth league sports for many years (coach, board member, team mom, etc.) but I would love to have an adult program as well as a youth program if I could get something started in Las Vegas.

Thanks so much,
Anne

I'm new to the sport - I've been watching it during the Olympics. I am 16 years old and would love to start a local team with friends and teachers!
How do I start?

I live in Eugene, Oregon. Currently the closest club is in Portland 1 1/2 hours away.

I've always been interested in Curling, but I've never actually given it a try. I would love to see a curling club in Kentucky, maybe in Lexington. I've always been amused by watching it on the Winter Olympics. I would volunteer in any way to see the sport come to KY. I think it something everyone can enjoy.

I believe Green Bay is curling in the Summer. You live in the correct area of the country to find curling. Good Luck. Curling Season starts up again in Sept/Oct.

Looks like your infor for the Nutmeg Curling Club in CT is out of date: http://www.nutmegcurling.com

Also the group in Greenville, SC is not 'south carolina curling club' it is 'Palmetto Curling Club' and they're doing VERY well.

Cheers and good curling,
