How can I try this sport:
  • Check out our "Open House", "Learn to Curl", "Mini Beginners", and "Group/Corporate" Program. If we are not curling at the moment, Email us , Signup online or leave a messege at our information line (913-599-9965) and we will send you an email reminder before any event starts.
  • Who are the average curlers:
  • Curling is a Life Sport for able bodied persons ages 10 to 80+.
  • Predominately Men, but Women show greater growth in numbers with 25-30% of our club women
  • In our club nearly 30% are Canadian though slightly more are Kansas City Natives with little previous curling knowledge
  • When will you curl:

  • Where will you be curling:
  • Pepsi Ice Midwest at 135th and Quivira, Rink A.
  • How long does it take to play
  • A typical game of 6 ends lasts 1.5 hours . Though, we may have a longer session of 8 ends which last 2 hours.
  • How much to play:
  • The OPEN HOUSE is free.
  • Our Learn to Curl program is $15 or $10 per curler if you join with a friend(s)
  • Our 5 Week Beginner program is $85. or $80 per curler if you join with a friend(s).
  • Membership and Non-Membership Priceing varies. For a Season it is $310 and averages between $16-$25 per week depending on what you sign up for.
  • Group Curling program is available at cost for ice rental ($272 per hour) Donations to our not-for-profit club accepted as well
  • What do I need to bring to play:
  • Loose fitting clothes, Layers are preferable that will keep you warm to 40 degrees
  • Rubber Sole Shoes free of debris. NO street shoes
  • The curling club will provide the basic equipment to curl. Once you begin to play regularly, you may want to accessorize.
