Monday Night Open Summer Curling

For a mere $15 each and any Monday paid directly to the facility, we will have training sessions alongside pickup games.

What:

New curlers can learn to play, experienced curlers can get additional training, and all are welcome to play pickup matches throughout the summer. Drop in or RSVP to guarantee a spot each week. Limit is 32. (We have been averageing 22.)

Who:

Anyone who can physically play. Curlers are typically 8-80 plus years old, either gender. While it appears simple, curling requires a certain agility and modest physical fitness. People with bad backs, ankles, knees or lack a sense of balance may find curling beyond their abilities. Many find curling more difficult than it looks but with a little practice, can develop into accomplished recreational curlers. A few will have the talent to take it to the highest levels. Are you up for the challenge?

When:

Play every week or only when you can. Help us move out the equipment at 7:05pm and start play shortly after stones are in place and and finish by 9:00pm

Cost:

$15 each week. Paid when you play.

rubber-soled shoes to grip the ice, clean of debris
layered loose fitted clothes to keep you warm at roughly 45 degrees
bike or skate helmet optional. *We have limited helmets for your use if you want the additional safety
